Why I don’t invest in marketing and advertising campaigns

I came across an article this morning that talks about Steve Jobs’ approach to and philosophy on marketing and branding, which I found very encouraging and inspiring to read since my business philosophy is and always has been that I would rather invest my time, money, and energy into creating a product or service that is valuable enough to essentially sell itself than into a marketing campaign, hence why I never have advertised and don’t plan to. If the day comes where I don’t have as much work as I want or need, my approach would not be to invest in a marketing campaign but to find a way to make my product or services valuable enough to clients again to sell themselves. I honestly believe that the best form of advertising you can have is happy clients or customers. You can read the article for yourself at http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/232343
